I never included friendlies. I just put the friendlies stats on a separate line for the hell of it. To answer your question, those are 16 official goals.

So in his first 12 appearances for Barca last season, he managed 13 goals and 5 assists compared to the 16 goals and 9 assists of this season so far. Last season, he managed 7 goals in the following 4 matches, so he really picked it up after that. I think he can score more this seasons than he did last season. Barcelona are actually stronger than they were if you can believe it.

Yeah, I felt he was a bit underrated with his original stats and decided to go all out.
He scores hattricks almost every game and sometimes he scores 6+ a game.

Calling him a playstation now is an understatement. He was doing so many incredible things yesterday, but he was incredibly unlucky as well. For his standards he didn't have the best game.

How many goals do you think he could score in La Liga? If the Golden Shoe Award was given to the player with the straight up most goals in league play Messi would probably have a hard time at getting the needed number. Some dude in Estonia has scored 44 goals this season with 3 games left to play.

What I meant is if we used the old school method of whoever scores the most goals wins, Messi would have a hard time beating that. The chance this guy actually wins this is very low but I think he will finish with the most overall goals in any European league. What makes this even more impressive is they have a 36 game season in Estonia so he has 44 goals in only 33 games.
