I remember against Wigan, Arshavin tripped over his own foot in the penalty box and the ref gave a penalty, he got up and said it wasn't a penalty, he just fell over, penalty was still given though.

Suarez isn't as bad as Drogba or Ronaldo in their first few seasons. Or half the Barca squad. And about the Ghana debarcle, everyone would have done that .

I don't recall Drogba, Ronaldo, or any Barca player biting another player. I'm sure that's brilliant sportsmanship, isn't it?
It's hardly good sportsmanship to not be as bad as them anyway.

Gus Poyet.
True gent, never constantly goes on about his opposition, or likens their play to that of another team in a derogatory way.

Maybe, but in my opinion assaulting the referee and making the Nazi salute to the fans doesn't seem very niceRoryOB94 wrote:Catching the ball when the keeper was down was good sportsmansipGegilworld93 wrote:RoryOB94 wrote:Why Arshavin? Anyway, Paolo Di Canio and Eusebio

Bad sportsman, end ofthese players get overlooked by the media because they are overshawed by
cheats such as suarez, barton, ronaldo and Young. and i've made this
thread to honour the good sportsmen that are still left in the game

Because he was expecting contact, realised that the 'keeper didn't touch him, so he told the ref that there was no contact and that he shouldn't give the penalty.
