You would think so, but since in Kuwait the government issues scholarships to it's students to go abroad, to the UK and US especially, and you apply for said scholarship with your IGCSE results.

Well yeah, but I mean the equivalent. I'm assuming that stars or not you are going to get a pretty decent scholarship.
My point is......I could've walked into college with 3 b's for each subject I wanted to take and a few c's to make up the numbers (and that's only because my college had pretty high standards)......then get 3 A's at A levels.....that would be a lot better than the other way round (i.e. great GCSEs and bad A Levels)
