The Fight for 5th place 2011-12

With the season just around the corner it is going to be a intense battle for 5th place with United, City, Chelsea and Arsenal occupying the top 4 places the battle for 5th will be intensifying with teams such as Tottenham, Liverpool, Villa, Everton, Sunderland and even the likes of Stoke City all looking to stake a claim.

Probably an average team like Arsenal will just get it, doubt it though, so probably Stoke

I fancy Liverpool to finish higher than Arsenal this year.

I think 5th would be utopia for us, will be between us and Spurs.

Who made this thread, i cant see who it was.

I think Liverpool will finish 5th, not too far behind Arsenal and narrowly ahead of Spurs in 6th.

it will be indeed fascinating battle

everton and tottenham are obvious favorites for 5th but u never know, underdog like sunderland can also scare others. do not forget liverpool even though it might be a stretch, 6th or 7th is more likely for them though but we will see what happens

I can see Spurs slipping unless they get a new striker.
