Re: GREEN AND WHITE ARMY!
McCourt was class tonight, best player on the pitch by far, his 2nd goal was amazing. Good result. Next games massive against Serbia though, hopefully we can get a win. Glad it's a home game because we normally play shite away from home.

The Faroe Islands are an underrated side.

When McCourt wants to play well and score great goals, he can. During his time at Celtic, he's scored one or two goals which would remind you of Messi.

Steve Davis - Match Winning Performance!
Was at the heart of every attack. Beautifully crafted defence splitting passes at every turn.

Good win for Northern Ireland. I know you'd expect them to beat the Faroes, but I'd say it was the manner of the result that would have really pleased them in the end.
They now have a genuine chance of getting 2nd place. Whether they will or not is a different matter, but they do have a chance.
I'm surprised to see Serbia coping so poorly. If that's what they're going to be like when they come up against Scotland, then I'm confident of our chances to at least finish in the top two.

Remember that they had their home game against Italy called off early in the match because of rioting and were forced to forfeit the match. If they'd have won that match they'd be on 11 points, the same amount as Slovenia in 2nd.cheesy wrote:Good win for Northern Ireland. I forgot about that. I was wondering why they were lumbering away back in 4th place.

Yeah, still surprising that they lost 3-1 to Estonia though.cheesy wrote:Johnny wrote:Remember that they had their home game against Italy called off early in the match because of rioting and were forced to forfeit the match. N. Ireland have a very good midfield, with McCourt and Davis.

Re: GREEN AND WHITE ARMY!
He's an excellent midfielder and didn't get enough chances in the Premier League either.
Imagine a midfield partnership of Kayal and Davis. That would dominate any team in the SPL.
