Deputy Prime Minister did say last year that if the current government got elected there was a good chance this type of thing would happen.

It's not because people are unemployed, it's just thugs and gangs who don't give a shit and want to break and steal stuff.

Many witnesses I've heard have said the people rioting and looting are just kids who are 14-16 years old.

I'd imagine if things continue this evening/tonight then all games in London at the weekend will be off. In all honesty, football is very low on the priority list and public safety is the highest. IMO things need to be calmed down and stopped for good before anything goes ahead and things get back to 'normal'.

I'm glad that this friendly has been postponed because it's ridiculous that there is a international friendly the week before the Premier League starts but I didn't want it to happen this way
