Didn't know where I was going other than Cyprus until about 4 hours ago.

All I was told is my mate is coming back from the exact same hotel, (tonight) and I go Tuesday evening. I bet he comes back and when I speak to him he tells me what a boring fucking shithole it is with no good entertainment and hardly any football events (like the daily entertainment) - and also I bet it's full of the fucking French and German who I'll undoubtedly get into a fight or two with if they try and fucking piss about when I'm in the middle of a game of pool or something.. which they always do.

Read many reviews and loads of the people say there wasn't many English for their kids to get involved with - fuck this shit already tbh.

Wheelchair accessible. Blackout drapes/curtains. Air conditioning. Window opens.

what a rusty cheap apart/hotel. glad we got moved after one night in it. when we arrived we were so upset at the state of the reception and not to mention the room we had to stay in - can't believe that this room was available to holiday makers (wouldn't even let my dog stay in it). After first night of depression as had to stay in Vangelis with thanks to bill we got moved to another hotel which turned out 100 times better than this crap place they charged holiday makers for. Will defo go back to protaras but never to vangelis. Our replacement hotel was not so central to the strip but we would have taken anything to get out of vangelis and glad we did.

My family and I stayed in the Vangelis July 2011. I felt I had to write a review on this site after reading some many poor reviews before we came!

Having a 3yr old I wanted to know that the place was friendly, safe and clean, I was very impressed. Some of the staff are English, we found them very helpful. Also the Cypriot staff very polite and always smiling! We were all inclusive for 2 weeks, the food was great. Various themed evenings to vary the menu's. The pool area was very safe, clean and always attended by a lifeguard. The smaller childrens pool has a slide which my daughter loved!

The thomas cook entertainment team provided enough laughter to keep us occupied in the evenings also!

I would recommend this hotel and area of Cyprus. The previous reviews I had read I think were professional moaners! things like ants on the floor!!!

I'm not sure though, because you get those (which seem like the ungrateful horrible southern twats) who never enjoy a holiday anyway, then you get these;
