It's just the fact the Champions League is back, even if the group stage is usually routine.

I've not got a good feeling about it this year. Honestly, if we come up against Barca then we're done for.

Not if we play the football like we did yesterday.

People used to say the same thing about Liverpool. There's are some interesting wildcards this year as the Champions of Germany, one of the strongest side in the Tournament (Manchester City) aren't seeded No. 1, as well as the Italian champions assuming Arsenal and Bayern get through.

Even if we do, we'd still struggle to beat them.
We can play this sort of football all we want, but Barcelona are still better at it than us and you have to get the ball first before you go out and play good football.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
It could be slightly interesting if Man City find themselves up against a strong second seeded side. Then we may actually see some strong and competitive football at the group stages for once in our lives.
Sometimes I wish that the groups were unseeded. You might say that it's unbalanced and could end up being very unfair, but I think that it would make things a lot more unpredictable and exciting, as the Champions League has become so predictable since Liverpool won it in 2005.

Rafael captained United to the 2011 FA Community Shield after captains Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra were replaced on the pitch against Manchester City in a memorable 3-2 comeback win.

Is there any videos of Balotelli squaring up to Vidic then realising it was Vidic and backing off?

After the match, Anderson should've just stood there and yelled out "MARIO!" and winked at him.
