Malaga sign quintet of stars!
New Malaga manager, Walter Kovacs, wasted no time at all in spending his 65million pound war chest after signing 5 new players for all of the budget.
Star Striker Adebayor signed from Man City for 6 million after it was made clear that they wanted rid of him. This was quickly followed by the 30 million signing of Brazilian wonderkid, Neymar, from Copa Libertadores winners, Santos and Sergio Asenjo from Atletico Madrid for 16 million. Kovacs ended his spending spree after signing Everton Midfield Mikel Arteta for 11 Million and Jem Karacan from Reading for 3.1 Million.
Speaking at a press conference, Kovacs said 'I am very pleased to have bought these 5 players and I really feel that we can get Europa League and at a push, maybe we can sneak into the Champions League because, to be frank, our team is good enough.'
When asked if the spending will continue, he added 'No, I think we're done for this window, I've strengthened in every area that I could see that we need. If theres any problems, i'm sure the owners will be kind enough to give me a couple more million to buy a player or two.'

Debut goals in first win!
Walter Kovacs and his Málaga team got off to a winning start in La Liga courtesy of a 3-2 home win over Valencia CF, the highlight being three debut goals from Neymar, Van Nistelrooy and a late dramatic winner from Toulalan!
The game got off to a great start after Ruud Van Nistlerooy scored a clinical finish after a great pass from fellow debutant Mikel Arteta split the defense and let him through to slot past the Valencia keeper. Pablo Hernandez equalised with a cutback goal after some good play from Juan Mata but Malaga were back in front a few minutes later after a powerful header from Neymar, who became Málaga's youngest ever goalscorer with that goal.
It was that man Pablo Hernandez again, with another scrappy goal in the 76th minute but Málaga threw men up the pitch in an attempt to get the winner, and it came from Frenchman Jeremy Toulalan with a good low finish after being slotted in by Substitute Rondon.
This win put Málaga 4th in the table ahead of a trip to newly promoted Real Betis and then a big match at home to defending champions, Barcelona.

Re: Walter Kovacs: Football Manager
Erm, i haven't got it up but i'll do a quick run down..
I'm 3rd in the league behind Barcelona and Real Madrid who are on joint points and then it's Malaga (we're behind them by like 20 points )
I'm in the final of the Spanish Cup after beating Barcelona in the Semi's 6-2 on aggregate (2-2 at home, 4-0 at Camp Nou)
And we're in the Quarter Finals of the Champions league after beating Bayern Munich 5-2 on aggregate (2-1 to them at my home, and then beating them 4-0 at the Allianz Arena)
