I have to start and restart my 360 sometimes 20 or 30 times before it will play a fucking game, even if the game is bran spanking new. What the fuck is that shit?

That happened to my Xbox 360 as well, its actually quite common. The disc drive will eventually stop working altogether like mine did, had to buy a new one because my warranty with microsoft ran out.
