This Traditional Wake goes back to the 1940's and takes place whenever Preston North End or Blackburn Rovers are Promoted or Relegated. A very Macabre but fun family event which has gained much interest from the world of Media on this occasion due to the attendance of The Club Manager, The Team and even Deepdale Duck amongst others.
Again it will be in aid of Charity -

Tender Nursing Care
Floats and Parade to start along Church Road near Ye Olde Hob Inn at noon and along Station Road to The Pear Tree, up School Lane and Brindle Road then finally along Collins Road towards the final resting place at the Top House. The Coffin will be laid to rest in the usual dirge speach by the faux Bishop and Nuns, then after this ceremony everyone can look forward to the Phoenix Season.
