Who's better: FC Copenhagen or Falkirk

Just a little argument between Leeds and West Ham fans that i've seen on another site. The footballing knowledge being displayed is dreadful, so I thought i'd share it with you lot, as you have half decent football knowledge to be fair (well, some of you do).


Leeds fan: West Ham beating an average side in my opinion, unlike Leeds who beat 3 very physical and challenging sides comfortably. Can't see West ham securing promotion, play offs if they're lucky.


Same Leeds fan: Falkirk are on a par with Copenhagen


West Ham fan: You talk shit, Falkirk are useless!


Leeds fan: Danish football is awful. East London mugs





There's more, but that's the main bit. I found it laughable that they actually thought Falkirk are on par and even better than Copenhagen, a side that reached the Last 16 of the Champions League only last season and even held Chelsea to a 0-0 draw.

Copenhagen are so much better then Falkirk. Copenhagen have players been watched by massive clubs in Europe. I have never seen Falkirk though, they could be good. Just not as good as Copenhagen.

Hmmm, FC Copenhagen, a top Danish side, with numerous Champions league appearances, or Falkirk, a team in the second tier of Scottish football...

FC Copenhagen were in CL and tied Barcelona.. obviously better.

Didn't get too see the match against West Ham as i was coming home from watching Ajax beat FC Copenhagen's rivals Brøndby 3-0, but highlights and reports say that FC Copenhagen was better in everything except scoring. Which they apparently did twice but one was an offside and other was a freekick for the West Ham goalie.

Honestly can't be compared, but i suppose you'll really be able to tell when they are playing Irish Shamrock Rovers, although how they compare to Falkirk is probably an entirely different discussion.

Copenhagen are the better team, no question. I would say though that just because Falkirk are a Scottish team that isn't Celtic or Rangers, doesn't necessarily mean they are useless. Didn't Aberdeen beat Copenhagen 4-0 a few season ago?

Falkirk, Scottish football is so good and that's why they're not big there, if they were playing Copenhagen every week they'd win every time.

FCK does stupid shit like that from time to time, like in 2009 they were sent out of CL playoff by Apoel Nicosia, and back in 2004 they had won 2-1 away against Nova Gorcia then lost a whopping 5-0 at home. Yes Aberdeen beat them in UEFA Cup in 2007. It could go bad this season too, a few key players sold and coach Ståle Solbakken is in FC Köln now, so they could be shaky in the pursuit of more Champions League "fun".

copenhagen has squad littered with internationals, multiple danish league winner and other stuff they have done continental competition like last season

falkirk, i dont even know such aclub excisted, if spl is a joke, then i wont waste the time to descibe the second division of scottish football

This is a total waste of time, just compare the clubs European records. No need to even talk about Copenhagen's success because it is lightyears ahead of Falkirk. Falkirk was in Europe once and lost to the Liechtenstein giant FC Valduz.

Well there are three tiers below the SPL of teams that could someday play in the SPL. The nonleague tier is seperate so a team could not actually make the SPL by climbing from the very bottom to the top.
