First one wasn't scary at all, was quite funny in fact. But it'd been so hyped up as being terrifying I spent the entire film in fear that there'd be something really scary about to happen any second

Exactly how I felt. Also didn't help that my mate screamed rape at the part when she got dragged out of bed. The whole room just burst out laughing
