Best away fans in England
I'll have to say Newcastle, good set of fans. Only one rule: you cannot vote for your own fans *RR*

Sunderland. For a club of their size they have a big following and are loud.

Well it's not Newcastle. They're good at home but average away.
Leeds got voted best in the Football League by the way. In our last 4 seasons we've only not sold out 1 away allocation, that was at Oldham on a Monday night and the game was on Sky.

Anyone who votes for any team that isn't Sunderland or Leeds are morons. Its easy to support the big 4 knowing your gonna win most games.

The best supporters who visited Bury were Accrington and Stockport were good fans.

Southampton.
Nah, but probs Leeds, their lot made some noise last time we played them.
Actually, Southend's fans were class too.

Leeds were the best at our ground last season easily. I suppose Derby fans are decent against us, but that's only because of the game it is.

I'd say Leeds. They sell out pretty much every away game and never fail to make a decent atmosphere.
Man United's away support seems very good as well.

Re: Best away fans in England
Napoli fans were pretty loud this year.
Stoke fans were the loudest out of the games I went to this year.
City's dzecho chant was loud when they did it properly.
United fans went quiet after half time, and we never heard a word from them again.
Newcastle are up there too, seemed an all right bunch. They like to sing about stereo's a lot

We didn't sell out Swansea either, we were about 45 tickets short of selling it though, big allocation for a lunchtime kick off in South Wales isn't a bad effort!Ben wrote:Well it's not Newcastle. They're good at home but average away.

Re: Best away fans in England
We didn't sell our allocation for Palace either looking at the June matchday magazine. but we still had 5,300 that day. Those 3 are the only ones we haven't sold all our tickets for since we got relegated to league one I think.Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:We didn't sell out Swansea either, we were about 45 tickets short of selling it though, big allocation for a lunchtime kick off in South Wales isn't a bad effort!Ben wrote:Well it's not Newcastle. Re: Best away fans in England
Thought Newcastle were good this year.
Stoke are usually good, but they were a bit light in number and spirits this year, considering they lost the FA Cup less than a week before.

Re: Best away fans in England
I thought with Palace we sold it out then at the very last minute they made some more available but we didn't sell them all in time. I dunno, but yeah we still had pretty much all that stand didn't we? I couldn't see the empty part from where I was, only realised the stand wasn't full when I saw a video.coolhead33 wrote:We didn't sell our allocation for Palace either looking at the June matchday magazine. but we still had 5,300 that day.
