    Arsenal sign Gervinho

    Sky sources (people from twitter and newspapers) have informed us that Arsenal have completed the signing of Gervinho for 10.6million pounds on a four year contract. Arsenal were expected to be busy in the transfer window but this transfer was quite shocking and unexpected. Gervinho was meant to be announced by Arsenal today but they couldn't find a camera with a big enough lens to fit his new shirt and his whole head in frame.

    Gervinho said "This is a dream come true. I love clubs that love to play with the ball on the ground so I'm happy to be joining one. I've been following Arsenal for a few years now and have even attended a few games"

    We at Sky managed to find a picture of Gervinho in the crowd at an Arsenal game.

    BBC Sport understands that Barcelona have completed the signing of Cesc Fabregas in the region of 45 million pounds. Barcelona have been interested in taking back Fabregas since 2007. The amount of tears shed by Xavi, Iniesta and co because of the delays has been astonishing. We spoke to Gerard Pique about the transfer and unsurprisingly he was very excited.

    Our transfer correspondent is off today so this article will be shit.

    Eden Hazard has signed for Arsenal for about 16 million pounds. That's Arsenal's second signing of the season. Both from Lille.
