Stumped

Got a young CB. 18, going on 19. He's a fairly decent CB, about League Two/League One level.

Although he's a decent enough player, he almost always makes a mistake that leads to a goal whenever he comes on. And because of this, I'm slightly reluctant to bring him on if we aren't 3-0 up. So he's not getting as many games as I would like.

Tried loaning him out, I make it a point not to loan anyone out unless they will be a 'valuable member of the team' or whatever. Unfortunately, said young CB, thinks quite highly of himself, and his £5k transfer from Thurrock to Coventry City two seasons ago has gone to his head and he thinks he is better than the teams that are willing to take him.


No idea what to do. Help FM bitches.

When he does shit tell him via player interaction. Keep doing that and sooner or later he will stop being shit.

Don't have sheds. Can't afford them.

Not sure you're able too, but try and train up his concentration levels (or it'll come with time), try tutoring him with someone in your team with high concentration.

Tutored him with Kyrgiakos and he's turned himself into a decent Championship level defender apparently.

He seems to be developing a bit better now. Had a couple of injuries, so he's only played 5 times this season in the league.

Hmm, none of his stats appear to be causing it, and if he is fairly professional, his hidden stats can't be bad too.

Than I see he has only made one appearance and 4 subs.

Dan, your player is simply suffering from being out of form. Play him more, and make sure your team's tactics are well engraved into the team on Match Preparation.

He's increased a hell of a lot more since I've tutored him mind.
