Re: The tennis thread.
Azarenka RT'd me once and the legend that is Mary Cherry replied to me today. My Twitter is awesome
Hard to say. If this was the week after the US Open or even during the US Open, Nadal would probably just play on half arsed like he did at this Australian Open this year when Ferrer beat him - Nadal was clearly injured then. But because this is the week before the US Open, he'd probably have the sense to retire and rest up so he'd be fully fit for the US Open.

Liar, Nadal would have beaten Murray in the first place.RobbieSavageIsA... wrote:Azarenka RT'd me once and the legend that is Mary Cherry replied to me today. My Twitter is awesomekyro7 wrote:What a Serbian wanker, Nadal would have gone to the end and accepted his defeat.

I was speaking hypothetically of course
I won't mention the times Murray's beaten a fully fit Nadal because, well, I'd be just as depressed by that at you.

Is that because I bitched about Nadal taking too long between points the other day?

But I said I like Nadal's matches...because he takes so long between points that I can go make a cup of tea

Didn't see the match but that would not surprise me at all. I bet all the service games Sharapova lost were because of double faults.

Must've been infectious if JJ was spewing them out as well.

Originally they were posted on a forum I go on, but I tracked them down again and found them on a livejournal blog They're probably all over tumblr too.

Re: The tennis thread.
I'm disgusted that I've never seen it before tbh.
You have to love them two.
Really looking forward to the US, hopefully Djokovic gets an injury and has to pull out.

I was going to say that. Love Roger and Rafa together but hate Rafa alone

Re: The tennis thread.
The good thing about Rafa's taking the top spot is that he actually had to battle Roger and earn it. Now it just seems like everyone's rolled over to let Djokovic take over.

I've watched that video a fair few times too class. If only we could have a Roger/Rafa US Open final to top it all off.

Re: The tennis thread.
Apparently there was a pretty big earthquake in the north east of America that could be felt at the tournament in New Haven, happened during a Jankovic match.
She must've held serve or something
