I need to find somewhere that will keep me up to date with the Schedules so I can look forward to tournaments more.

Fuck the Davis Cup bollocks. Get on with the US Open, even if I'll be watching on my computer.

There's the US Open Series before then, pretty sure Sky Sports covers most of it.

Clay season usually revives him. A couple of years ago he went something like 10 or 11 months without a title (in other words he won fuck all on hard courts, missed Wimbledon that year too) and everyone thought he was done. Another 10 or 11 months later, he wasn't far off completing the Career Grand Slam.
He'll be fine.

I doubt he'll win every tournament he plays like he was doing earlier this year, but he's definitely the favourite for the US Open, probably the WTF too if Serbia aren't playing the Davis Cup final in November. Providing he stays injury-free of course.

Federer's W-L percentage is higher in all of the slams except Roland Garros, and that's only 'cause Nadal's a clay court slugger

1st's the worst, 2nd's the best, 3rd's the one with the hairy chest, etc.?

Re: The tennis thread.
I hate this idea that Nadal is better than Federer because of their head to head record. It's only because Federer is such an exceptionally well rounded player that he has a losing record against Nadal - because he always reaches Clay Court Finals, the one surface where Nadal is better than him. Looking back, Nadal regularly loses in the US and Australian Open tournaments to guys who Federer smashes with ease, look at the US Open of 2008, where Murray swept aside Nadal then got terminated in straight sets in the Final, the same again in the 2010 Australian Open.
If Nadal were consistent enough on surfaces other than Clay to regularly face Federer, then his record against him would me much more balanced, as things stand 14/25 matches have been on Nadal's favoured surface. If Federer had lost in Semi Finals at Roland Garros and other clay tournaments as regularly as Nadal has in the hard court competitions, they would hardly ever have faced each other on clay, and Federer may actually have a stronger head to head record against him.

Whoever uses that logic to think Nadal is better and is actually serious is pretty silly.ResurrectionRooney wrote:I hate this idea that Nadal is better than Federer because of their head to head record.
