Robinho
What's happened to this lad? I remember him joining City on the deadline of the transfer window, and to be fair it was a pleasure to watch him, and he got 14 goals in his first season. Then he went to Santos and tore that apart, and no disrespect to the Brazilian league a player of his calibre can easily do that. Now he's at Milan right? How is he doing there? I think he'd slot into Man City quite well know, but they really do need a big clearout.

Yeah he's with Milan permanently and he's done well there in his first season.

People act like he died or some shit, he's still 27 and arguably the second best dribbler in the world

Re: Robinho
Hmm, wonder if the Prem was too rough.
He scored the same amount of games for Milan last season as he did for City a few seasons back, 14.

"Then he went to Santos and tore that apart." Good one. He played well at Santos, but he wasn't some overlord who made all the defenders tremble. He had good and bad games.

I thought he was quality in his first season at City, but it's not easy to settle at a shit team like that.

Re: Robinho
You can't claim that without quoting my entire post regarding it. I explained quite clearly what I was on about, there were different era's, don't think you can compare one player to another. My original point was that if Pele was playing today, he wouldn't be much better than a player like Robinho.JMB_94 wrote:Does anyone remember when someone said Robinho is better than Pele was? Re: Robinho
It's not exactly a stretch to consider Neymar near Robinho's ability. Robinho's physical presence is mostly what Neymar lacks.SBSP wrote:You said Neymar is already better than him too.polska. wrote:You can't claim that without quoting my entire post regarding it. Well if I consider Pele at Robinho standard.. and Neymar near Robinho standard.. do the math.SBSP wrote:I was talking about Pele.polska. wrote:It's not exactly a stretch to consider Neymar near Robinho's ability.
