    Robinho Empty Robinho

Post by crump Mon Jun 27, 2011 7:53 pm

What's happened to this lad? I remember him joining City on the deadline of the transfer window, and to be fair it was a pleasure to watch him, and he got 14 goals in his first season. Then he went to Santos and tore that apart, and no disrespect to the Brazilian league a player of his calibre can easily do that. Now he's at Milan right? How is he doing there? I think he'd slot into Man City quite well know, but they really do need a big clearout.

Hmm, wonder if the Prem was too rough.

He scored the same amount of games for Milan last season as he did for City a few seasons back, 14.

"Then he went to Santos and tore that apart." Good one. He played well at Santos, but he wasn't some overlord who made all the defenders tremble. He had good and bad games.

I thought he was quality in his first season at City, but it's not easy to settle at a shit team like that. Mischief

You can't claim that without quoting my entire post regarding it. I explained quite clearly what I was on about, there were different era's, don't think you can compare one player to another. My original point was that if Pele was playing today, he wouldn't be much better than a player like Robinho.

It's not exactly a stretch to consider Neymar near Robinho's ability. Robinho's physical presence is mostly what Neymar lacks.
