Asked this in the chat thread last night, didn't get an answer. My question is: I have a picture on Microsoft Word (which was print-screened) now, how do I get this onto a graphics program? I have tried saving the file, but it will not appear when I search for it.

I have a problem aswell. I'm using my TV as the monitor atm because it isn't showing anything on my normal monitor. When I turn it on nothing comes up but a *beep* sound comes up for every 2 seconds...help?

When I had the print screen of my desktop, I copied it into Paint, got rid of the white border, and saved it as a jpeg file. So it was a picture file, then I was able to upload it to the forum.

But if you want the image in Photoshop you could just copy it into there.

Is your desktop plugged into your computer monitor?

View the pic > print screen > open paint > crop > save.

Okay, what do I save the picture as? There's loads of options, like.. web page, document, etc.. can't find JPG/PNG?

Save as. Then on 'save as type' under file name go to JPEG.
