Fifa 11 distance shooter achievement i've scored outside of the box with gerrard twice now how do i get the achievement?

Don't move this cos i wont get a reply overwise

Doesn't it have to be with a player with the 'Distance Shooter' trait? Obviously I would expect Gerrard if anybody to have this but just to make sure...

Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't though. Only with United, I've found a few strange ones. Berbatov has poacher, and Owen doesn't have any

Was just going to say this. Owen is a poacher and flair is a true trait of Berbatov.

You're going to get Berbatov stuck on the edge of the defence now..

Scored with David Villa outside the box and got the achievement. Distance shooting in FIFA 11 is way too hard IMO, it probably just takes some getting used to but im finding it difficult to even score from outside the box at the moment.

I've played the demo a couple of times and I havn't scored a single belter from outside the box yet. It's always wide or straight at the keeper.

I find it pretty easy to be fair scored a couple with my pro aswell i find crossing really hard to find people to be honest

Meh, i guess its just because Ipswich suck or something.

Headers are a massive improvment, no more somehow managing to put a header 10 yards over the bar from being in the 6 yard box with no pressure at all, i'll give credit to EA for that one.

I got the achievement when I scored with Gerrard outside the box

The games shit and doesn;t work, does that answer you question mate?

Danny Graham has long shot taker and he's only scored 1 goal out of the area in his whole career...and even that was 1 yard out .....some of the traits are a bit stupid basically.

I think I had only like 2 goals from outside the box. It's pretty hard on FIFA 11. Someone mentioned crossing is also hard. I find crossing and heading the easiest things on FIFA 11, much easier than FIFA 10.

I agree, makes corners much more realistic now.

Heading is too easy.
Fifa 10 you actually had to direct it to the area of the goal, now its just point at goal.

Headers are awful in FIFA 10.

The first goal i scored i got the trophy for creating a goal by crossing trhe ball with Larsson, unfortunately he is one of the only Birmingham players with traits and personality.
Goals from crosses are fairly easy for Brum as we have Zigic upfront who is good with his head on the game, yet in real life he doesnt win 1....how Zigic, you're 6 ft 8"

I only played my fifa for about 30 minutes so far but in my oppinion long shots are too easy ?

Scored a 37 yard volley with Van Persie on world class against Barca, I then scored a very long range free kick with C.Ronaldo in my second match.

Not played online yet.
