First, ENPPI's goalkeeper makes a schoolboy error...

Then Ismaili withdraw from the league in protest of a referee. facepalm

Ismaili have forfeited the Egyptian League in protest over refereeing following their 1-0 defeat against Gaish on Friday, a club spokesman said.

"The board called for an emergency meeting during which it was decided to forfeit the league," Alaa Wahid told FilGoal.com.

The Egyptian FA announced on Thursday that foreign referees will be in charge of Ahli, Zamalek and Ismaili games in this weekend.

Zamalek beat Police Union under the guidance of Tunisian refereeing, while Ahli's game was officiated by a Saudi referee.

Ismaili's game with Gaish was held with Egyptian referee Fahim Omar in charge.

Omar whistled a penalty for Gaish in the 77th minute as Ernest Papa Arko converted the winner home.

Although TV replays proved the decision was correct, Ismaili officials and fans were furious.

"The Egyptian FA has double standards. Why do we get an Egyptian referee while Ahli and Zamalek get foreigners?" Wahid asked.

"Ismaili also play for the title and deserve to be treated as equal with Ahli and Zamalek."

To be honest, I don't think any team should have foreign referees for their games. It's a fucking Egyptian Premier League. Only Egyptian referees should referee those matches. If you have a problem with Egyptian referees, suck it up! Although Ismaili's action is ridiculous, they have a point on the double standards of the Egyptian FA. It's not fair to assign better referees for Ahly and Zamalek's matches.

A Masri defender shoots the ball from 55 yards out towards the box. The ball bounces about 15 yards away from the goal and the keeper is caught in no man's land. The ball bounces over the keeper and into the goal. That goal gave Masri the 1-0 win in the 88th minute.

Exactly. And to be honest with you, Egyptian referees are not that bad. We are just still stuck in the pre-revolution mentality that the outside world is superior to us in everything. Sure, European referees might be better than the standard of Egyptian referees, but not by that much. And the Egyptian FA very rarely punishes any club or manager if they hit out on a referee after the match (especially when the referee was not wrong in his decisions). If SAF was a manager in the Egyptian League, he would be having a field day.
