Today it was reported in Switzerland that Xherdan
Shaqiri might sign for Manchester United after his good performances
against England in both EURO qualifiers. The papers named a BBC source
which I was unable to find, for the sake of completeness, here the

I think it might be just a bit too early, he'll be lucky to end up
on the bench imo, some guy wrote a comment on the site I linked saying
"If he wants to go to a big club, why not to Barca, because there he can
follow the whole season from the stands and won't be cold like in
Manchester. Shaqiri and Shakira, that'll do nicely"
He's very talented, but it would be better for him if he stays one
more season in Basel, they're already in the CL group stage where he'll
have the chance to sign.
