Actually, Preston North End have managed to go a whole season unbeaten. A much better feat than the Arsenal side because they didn't actually lose a game.

I know that Preston North End achieved this in a previous century, when football was a much less competitive game than what it is now. For a team to achieve something like that again, they would need a player of Pascal Cygan's quality, unfortunately, there is only one Pascal Cygan, and he retired today.
