Hopefully Welbeck recovers from his injury in time to get back into form.

I think we would have done well if players didn't pull out, eg: Wilshere and Carroll.
Yea the lineup is quite odd, they all did play in the qualifiers but teams like Iceland and Belarus have in some ways way more focus on U-21 than the A level team, probably because they have a more realistic chance at qualifying for the final tournament at youth levels if they keep focus on that. While England, Spain or even Denmark would never consider taking an A level player down to U21 if there was a match conflict ( u-21 qualifiers have often been played days around the A level qualification match days or on them) Iceland and Belarus have on more than one occasion taken players that were called up to A level, down to strengthen the U21 squad.
As i was posting the final squad was released with last minute changes due to a form check in a U20 match

Profiles in my opinion are GK Jonas Lössel, who is another big goalkeeper from Denmark, at times reminds me of Joe Hart pulling off some great reflex saves, recently he havent been at his best but a break from a dissapoiting finish to the league and a cup loss could mean everything for our chances at the tournament as everyone knows form is temporary class is permanent.
In defense there is Mathias "Zanka" Jørgensen who has broken through in this season with a lucky for him injury to a new defender at FC Copenhagen he got to play every single Champions League game for Copenhagen, facing players like Messi, David Villa, Anelka & Torres(Yes odd one out ) this 21 year old is already way past 100 games for FCK and have had a a few matches for the A-level team already and is called up for both U21 and A-Level in the coming months.
In the midfield it is no surprise that the profile of the team is Christian Eriksen, the youngest player at the 2010 World Cup really had his breakthrough this season with his old youth coach Frank De Boer taking the reins at Ajax, giving him his confidence and form needed to be a starting player in every match since, including a MoM performance against AC Milan and crucial goals and assist to take Ajax to the 30th Championship, there is little doubt that he will be the most important player at this tournament for the national team at this tournament and many years ahead. By far the biggest profile on the team known by football fans and scouts around the world.
Way up front we have Nicki Bille, who surprisingly were picked up by Villareal last summer to be coached and possibly be part of the La Liga team one day, so far he has only seen 20 minutes of action for the Villarael first squad but have been scoring goals and making a name for himself amongst the fans in the Villareal B team. Before coming to Villareal he was an integral part of the FC Nordsjælland team that took the Cup in 2010 as well as scoring 5 goals in 4 matches during the U21 tournament in Toulon the same summer, both contributing to the Villareal move. He has been an important piece in the U21 squad for a while now and have yet to take his debut at A-Level, but i believe that if he can claw his way into the first team at Villareal it won't be long till Bendtner has some real competition for his spot in the A-Level squad.
