Preston could face a battle to keep hold of
Keith Treacy this summer after he admitted he wants to play at a higher
    level than League One.

The 22-year-old winger has been linked with moves to Ipswich, BurnleyForest, Burnley, Ipswich interested in Treacy Spacer and Nottingham ForestForest, Burnley, Ipswich interested in Treacy Spacer following North End's relegation from the Championship.
Republic of IrelandForest, Burnley, Ipswich interested in Treacy Spacer international TreacyForest, Burnley, Ipswich interested in Treacy Spacer says he has discussed his future with manager Phil Brown,Forest, Burnley, Ipswich interested in Treacy Spacer and admits he could be tempted by a switch to the Championship or even the top flight.
He told the Lancashire Evening Post: "We had a meeting and he's just put a price on my head and said, 'if it gets met, all well and good, we won't hold you back'.
"We'll have to wait and see now if a club is interested or what's
going to happen but I'm hopeful, yeah, because I want to play at the
    highest level I possibly can.

"I feel maybe the Championship or
the Premiership at a push would be ideal for me. I think I'm a little
bit better than League One if I'm being honest."

"I feel maybe the Championship or the Premiership

League One if I'm being honest."
Despite Treacy's claim that Preston have given him a price tag, the club's chairman, Maurice Lindsay,Forest, Burnley, Ipswich interested in Treacy Spacer insists they are desperate to keep him at Deepdale.
Lindsay said: "We will only be letting players go if it suits us.
"I would be totally against Keith Treacy leaving, he is such an
exciting player on the ball and can be a prolific goalscorer from the
    wing when he's on form.
I know there are fans of these clubs on here (Forest, JMB, Royal) so I gave it a seperate thread. What would you think of him coming to your club?

We're linked too. I wouldn't be disappointed but I see no need for it. I'd rather we spent what little we will spend on other players.

What about if Snodgrass leaves? Won't you need a left-winger?

Would be a good signing actually. He was Preston's best player by far against us and we need a winger with Tyson leaving (Tysons a striker but gets played left wing).

Our only wingers are Anderson and McCleary

Which game, either one of the 2-1 losses, or the pulsating 2-2 draw?

Snodgrass and Gradel won't leave. The only winger I could possibly see us bringing in is Watt again.

What will you value him at then?

Probably will only get a couple of hundred thousand for him.

At least £1 Million. We got £2 Million for Wallace and Treacy is better than him.

    £1m with one year left?

I think that seeing as how Preston don't want to sell, that's a fair enough price.

He's a good player but, "Premiership if I'm pushing it".....Laughing. he should count himself lucky to get to one of these sides in the title, as he wouldn't start every game.

He'd be quality, very good player in this league. Also quoted this because I was wondering if you knew what was happening with Tyson at all? Was heavily linked with us and another team, was it Ipswich or someone like that? I heard today though that we're no longer in contention to sign him though, same for this other club. Is he defintely leaving?

I don't know what's happening with Tyson, only heard runours. Apparently we have offered him a contract but it was sent through the post and feels upset in the way it was done and would have preferred it face to face. Haven't heard much about Ipswich though, you lot seem like the only team that have been heavily linked with him, but heard a few runours about Leeds too
