the playing group lacks the strengths of team from last season. you have unrealistic expections of to many of those players. there is no deco, no fit joe cole. and even ballack those players chelsea could relying for offering different attacking options because they can actually lift head and see a pass. tactics? is having no relavance. those midfield in chelsea is never capable of opening defence. and is even more funnier when you to his "next best" option is ramires. another player who has very limited vision but likes to run around. if ancelotti is to being blame for something i would say for that recruitment he failing to replace certain players from last season. but then this makes another question. ancelotti already said he has "limited power in transfers at chelsea.
tactics is not everything in football and certain not everything at chelsea. the playing squad is poor compared to other teams at that level
