We still get rumored with sacking Mancini constantly and they had a reputation after the Hughes thing. I think that was quite undeserved, I think the Hughes sacking was because he wasn't their appointment. Plus we were leaking goals like nobodies business. Seems difficult to remember that now with how defensive we play.

Generally, in a disagreement, if somebody has been proven wrong, they have been 'defeated' in that aspect of the argument. Surely a gifted man like yourself could make that logical link.

In any case, intellectuals like me don't consider it a 'defeat' if we are proven wrong, I like being proven wrong, it gives me a different perspective on the world.
