I am not judging his ability, I can't really say I have seen him play to do so.
What I am thinking of is his position, he plays on the right hand side or CM from what I have read, Real Madrid don't seem to be lacking players in those positions.

Good finisher and dribbler. over half the people in this thread probably haven't seen what hamit altintop is capable of. plus its not like he will break into the starting 11 right away. he is just another option for Mourinho.

He's not that bad. Though I really don't see why Real Madrid want him. Only reason I can think of is squad depth, of which they already have enough.
