Basically we all love statistics wether they're pointless ones, funny ones or significant ones so I just thought instead of going around the internet why don't we just post them all here.

I'll put the league tables and top scorers in the OP and I'll update it or maybe a mod can? And if anyone wants to make other leagues we can possibly make a sub forum just for stats.
    League Table:
    Premier League stat thread Leaguetablea
    Top Scorers:
    Premier League stat thread Topscorers

And I'll start us off with a random stat. Salomon Kalou scored the 50th Premier League goal this season for Chelsea against Wigan. neu shades

Nani has either scored or assisted six of Manchester United's last nine Premier League goals.

Between them, Berbatov and Nani have either scored or assisted 12 of Manchester United's 16 Premier League goals this season. Neutral

    Nice one.

Walcott got an assist from a shot deflecting off him that went into the path of Arshavin, I think. Neutral

Also, Rooney has 1 goal and 3 assists in 4 games, being technically worth a goal a game, proving you can't judge players form with statistics alone.

Chelsea's total of 21 goals from six games is now second best in the Premier League after Newcastle in 1994/95.

Arsenal haven't won away in Europe against teams from any of the three countries they must visit in this seasons Champions League.

For England in the qualifiers he has a goal and 3 assists, plus a fantastic pass to Cole who set Defoe's first up, so basically 4 assists with that tbh, in 2 games. Laughing

His England form has been superb. In fact, I would say the stats understate the impact he had in the two games thus far.

The yearly wage bill and total transfer fees for Blackpool's entire first team comes to less than half the £18m Chelsea paid for their reserve left-back.

Soloman Kalou's opener against Blackpool is the quickest league goal this season at 1:11 (71 seconds)

The 2nd quickest is Essien's goal at West Ham, just 39 seconds behind.

The latest goal is Darren Bent v Arsenal, at 94:14

It is David Stockdale's, Mark Randal's, James Perch's and Luke Varney's birthday today

Tomasz Kuszczak is the name that would get the highest scrabble score-53
