Not that great, 2-0 against a team 23rd in the league and not scored in about 10 hours.
More like satisfactory

Re: League 2 Discussion Thread
Nice one, against Shrewsbury aswell
Here's a little report thing from http://bullsnews.blogspot.com/.
"What A Waste Of Money"
ByBobo
That was the - printable - chant from the Meadow End as an ineffective performance handed three points to Oxford.
The 2-0 scoreline looked close on paper, but in reality the Bulls werebarely in the game and rarely looked like scoring. One shot on target later in the second half drew rapturous applause from the ground as the Meadow End went into full irony mode that saw them celebrate a mockgoal, and call for Simon Davey to be appointed as Wales manager.
The gate of 2,918 had 967 away supporters in it - meaning the Bulls drew asub-2,000 home crowd again. Those that did appear watched their side sink into the bottom two, with the worst goal difference in the division. Only a late Chesterfield goal stopped the Bulls being bottom.

Re: League 2 Discussion Thread
Worried we are going to end up non league come end of the season TBH.
Another small report from the same site as before.
"
Now goalless in over 10 hours play, TheBulls sank to the relegation zone after an inept and rudderless displayagainst an Oxford side scarcely able to believe the ease with whichthey could claim three points. More worrying even than the hostilereaction of fewer than 2000 Bulls fans, the calling for heads to roll, and the black comedy of cheering virtual goals, was the scarcity ofchances created. A speculative 77th minute effort from DanielStratford, Hereford’s solitary shot on target, and by which time it wasfar too late anyway, was greeted with ironic applause from the MeadowEnd as Oxford indulged in some untroubled showboating."
Decided not to go Bury away next weekend now, rather save the money and not having to spend my Saturday wondering how woeful we are at playing football.

Re: League 2 Discussion Thread
I don't blame ya for not going to Bury next week. Have you not got a proper goalscorer? or is he just not scoring?
I was planning on going Gills today but decided not to after the £19 price-tag of a ticket lol

No our strikers are shocking
£19 is a rip off mate!! Could go watch a few lower table Prem teams for that!

Re: League 2 Discussion Thread
Gills have a shocking striker called Payne lol Gills fans hated him, he used to play for Sutton United, then moved to Fulham then joined Gillingham for free. He plays for the reserves but due to injuries he was playing this season unfortunately lol! You can have him if you like He has got a bit of pace, but thats about itHereford_Lad wrote:No our strikers are shocking

Indeed, £19 is too much for League 2. The Chairman put the prices up despite being relegated. My step-dads boss used to own one of those boxes where you get food & drink before the game, and he put the price of that up 20% to £800 per game lol. He isn't paying it this season.

Re: League 2 Discussion Thread
Don't blame him Real footy fans are getting priced out of going to watch their team, started in the Prem and it's starting to trickle down to the likes of us now.
I'll take that striker can't be any worse than our current lot so can't do any harm

Re: League 2 Discussion Thread
Sorry Hereford_Lad. I just find this very ironic. This was posted on Bulls Banter before the season.
.
They said it couldn't be done........that too much water had passed under the bridge....that they were different people now..........but Mark Yates has managed what was seemingly impossible.
Some are labelling it the biggest reunion since Pink Floyd.
In signing their Dagenham reserve striker today, the famed 2007-2008 Fisher Athletic strikeforce of Jeff Goulding and Wesley Thomas have once again been reunited.
God help us all.

It's 3 points and a clean sheet away from home...
I make that a great win.
Better than 5-1 imo

It is better for us to keep a clean sheet as we haven't conceded many, and a clean sheet means at least 1 point.
Good to get used to it .
4-0 against Morecambe followed by 2-0 away to Hereford, good two results

I might go for a trial at Edgar Street, do you reckon they need a 15 year old striker... I am good enough to get a Wellington trial + I can shoot

Haha, Oxford ticket is £8.50
Had Oxford lost against the Vale, we would have been 17th!
But as we won we are 10th
I will be very suprised if we do not get into the play-offs.
This league has no teams which are going to over-power us on the pitch. As we showed by ending Port Vale's 5 game away win record. They are also 3 points clear

Re: League 2 Discussion Thread
Had a fun day out at Aldershot watching our 1st away win since April. The away end which we shared with Aldershot was very noisey but the view was awful having 8 pillars at the front of the stand and 8 pillars half way up.
Also at the Vale fans who invaded the pitch only for them to concede a minute later.
