Seen other people say stuff like that too.
Why pass it forward if there is no options just to lose the ball?
Rant over.
PS: Yes a City fan said we should sell Cairney because "he just passes the ball sideways"

its those who predominately pass backwards that piss me off. busquets...
even if he has xavi sideways to him completely unmarked, he'll still pass to pique

Mainly the speed the play at is what bores me. I don't mind watching teams pass the ball around if it is at a good tempo.
Obviously when it is my team I don't want them to give the ball away when trying passes forward every single time.

That's the thing: it's different when it's your team. You would have a constant hard on if Hull could play ball retention like Barca. You're sig would say "We are Hull City! We don't lose possession."

Nah.
We play counter attacking football, but we play it in a much more fun way.
Instead of containing the other team, we actually let them past the midfield and then rely on either our defence to make a last ditch tackle or the keeper to make a save. Then we clear it quickly and score.
Exciting stuff. Although sometimes, Bristol City happens, Burnley happens, Millwall happens, Middlesbrough happens.

I don't think we'll be this defensive crazy team next year, we don't have the creative midfield yet, we'll walk the league next season.
Stewart - Danns - Cairney - Koren
I jizzed.

James, have you saw the quality of the teams with a chance of going down? West Ham, Wigan, Blackpool, Stoke, etc.. are much better than Hull. Add the 3 teams who won't go up through the play-offs who I presume will be Reading, Swansea and Forest, who are all better than you aswell. I can't see you finishing anywhere near the top 6.

80% of players will be sold.

Wigan would lose their decent players and be left with Championship squad.
West Ham are gonna do a Leeds at this rate.
