and my point it madrid buy too many young players to sit on the bench and play 5 games a season and expect them to perform ruining their confidence and sometimes their belief in their quality. no player is gonna say NO to madrid so its all their fault

where is Sahin gonna fit in?
    Next to alonso.

now making the other midfielders useless or maybe sahin will play 2 games and not impress so he gets dropped and his career takes a huge dump

If Sahin can perform, I see no reason why he can't start. Lass is a DM, but is limited in his overall play and is only good in certain situations. I like Khedira, which is why I don't really understand this transfer... he and Granero are capable backups. Gago is definitely going. Real's MF depth ont be too crazy next year if you look at it like...

    Alonso
    Sahin
    Khedira
    Lass
    Granero

    All at the CM/DM spot.

Khedira doesn't offer a lot going forward which is why sahin is probably an improvement.

Here's how I see it. Mourinho want someone to be their "playmaker" when Xabi is tired or injured. Khedira and Lass do the heavy lifting, while Sahin and Xabi take care of the "finer" parts of the game while still being highly efficent defensively.

Basically, if Real Madrid wants to beat Barcelona they need to have more or less two teams capeable of holding their own against them , or at least a backup in every position capeable of "doing the job":

    1st Team:

    Casillas
    Ramos - Carvalho - Pepe - Marcelo
    Xabi - Lass
    Ronaldo Özil Di Maria
    Higuain

    2nd Team:

    Adan
    ? - Albiol - Garay - Arbeloa
    Sahin - Khedira
    Pedro Leon - Kaká/Canales - Granero
    Benzema

So In my opinioin they still need a backup right back/or left back, better cover in defense (personal opinion though) and a Striker. Adebayor is most definitely not staying as his wage would be on par with Ronaldo, and he simply does not justify that.

They can play there but they are better elsewhere. Generally you want natural positioned player on that level. Especially for a club attempting to take down one of the greatest club sides of all time.

    So hamit next hmm.....

@Marcotti Two interesting reasons why Altintop might definitely sign 1) cost (he is out of contract with Bayern) 2) same agent as Ozil and Sahin.

Na I don't either. They don't have many natural wide players though which is probably why.

Imo, Lass will leave. Granero and Gago are gone.
