Yeah, i didn't really like GTA 4 to be honest, big let down for me.
Tommy Vercetti was the best protagonist in the series, a damn likeable character.

Although San Andreas has more appeal to me because of the rap music etc my favourite is Vice City as it was my first GTA and introduced me to free roam games

The only GTA I really looked into and completed was IV! I went on the others to run around, killing people and driving around.

San Andreas just because it was so vast for a videogame at that time. Three completely different cities and there were alot more weapons and types of vehicles compared to previous GTAs.
But Vice City was the best city in any GTA game.

Can't split between Vice, San Andreas and GTA4.
Vice City introduced me to this kind of game and was my favourite for some time.
San Andreas so much customisation and the general story of the urban gangster scene was great
GTA4 obviously the graphics and story were immense.

I have played San Andreas and GTA 4 and 4 wins it for me by miles. I disliked San Andreas after that sound van mission where you have to dance for the van.

Guess nobody likes GTA 3 the best.
Probably because the others are such an improvement compared to 3, it was ground breaking though, being able to go around killing the police and pedestrians, stealing cars, and roaming around the City doing what ever i wanted was incredible at the time. But after playing Vice City there was no way i could go back to GTA 3.
