Happy St Totteringhams Day! Empty Happy St Totteringhams Day!

Post by Theo Filippo Sun May 08, 2011 8:08 am

St Totteringham's Day is the day when Arsenal fans celebrate the fact that Tottenham can no longer catch Arsenal in the League. It is a movable feast, but usually falls in March, April or May. It is the day to collect on bets made by over-optimistic Spurs fans in the close season who think that "this is the year".

The 2005 FA Cup Final was held at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on 21 May 2005 between Arsenal and Manchester United. In a tense but surprisingly one-sided encounter, Arsenal ran out winners after 120 goalless minutes despite being outplayed throughout the game, becoming the first club to win the cup on penalties. It was the first goalless draw in an FA Cup final since 1912.

seriously we play too many games now and now we're offering huge money to every striker alive and other teams realize they want some of our players, it blows being us really, we are a mid table club who is too good for own good. If that makes any sense. I don't wanna become another plastic club who buys success.

What the hell are you talking about? You'd rather Tottenham be a midtable club to avoid being accused of being a "plastic" fan. scratch

You still haven't won a trophy this year (and the Emirates Cup doesn't count). This doesn't actually bother me, even if you finish in Champions League places while we (most likely) will finish 5/6th. I'm just happy with the 3-2 at the Emirates and not getting beat in the league by you lot this year.
