Thats not the point though. Your losing to Newcastle.. Same with us yesterday, I think it mattered more that we beat Tottenham purely for the fact of the rivalry. Chelsea vs Newcastle | Carling Cup | 19:45 - Page 2 Icon_biggrin

Newcastle aren't our rivals, and our team only had Terry and Anelka as first team regulars.

    A) It's the carling cup, no one cares about it.
    B) We have depth, unlike Arsenal.

Im not sayin they are your rivals lol I was saying that about Tottenham being rivals with us. More to the point that Chelsea are losing to Newcastle. Chelsea should be beating Newcastle, Ancelotti could have at least put some decent players on the bench..

    Get it into your head.

No one cares about the competition, apart from the desperate teams like Arsenal and Man City.

Chelsea losing is bad no matter what the team/competition, you should be looking to keep the train going, smashing every team along the way a loss will upset that flow.

Errr, I was referring to the match not the cup ok?
And no, your team does not have more depth than us. A better starting 11? Yes, but we've got more depth than you, you don't know what you're talking about.

I couldn't care less about this competition as I've said before, but I do care about losing to Spurs tbh. What I said in the beginning before you started to spring on me was that it looks like it's getting worse for you lot, Kalou off then Benayoun. Look you got a goal back so...

No, when we get them we have good enough cover, Arsenal have inexperienced youth players.

We had Carvalho out for most of last season, Bosingwa out for most of it and Essien out for half of last season.

    3 key players out.

    B) We have depth, unlike Arsenal.
    A) Im sure you do care about it, but it's because it looks like your going out of it, you seem to not care about it.
    B) The only depth you have over us is probably defence, and thats about it?

You have some nice depth there. Btw: If your gonna add youth (Which have hardly even played for you?) then Arsenal would still have more depth than you.

    I meant Strength in Depth.

You don't see chelsea using injuries as an excuse every year do you?

    But Arsenal do. Wonder why?
Erm, tell us the last time you've had at least 4 players from your starting 11 injured.

    Last year doh

Against Inter, Ashley Cole, Essien, Carvalho, Cech, Bosingwa.

because Chelsea don't get the kind of injuries Arsenal do?

No, when we get them we have good enough cover, Arsenal have inexperienced youth players.

We had Carvalho out for most of last season, Bosingwa out for most of it and Essien out for half of last season.

    3 key players out.
Ive proved we have enough cover, but it's much harder when your main striker is out for 3/4 of the season, then at the final part of the season, the guy who has been scoring all your goals ends up missing the rest of the season. Take away Drogba for a whole season, youd struggled. and we might actually beat you without Drogba Chelsea vs Newcastle | Carling Cup | 19:45 - Page 2 Icon_lol
