I noticed that. Just seems random, so I was curious.

Sounds like Arteta has picked up a long term injury. Moyes said that he was out indefinitely at today's presser for the game tomorrow against D.C. United.

I like Everton, got nice kits and good players. Although I'm not liking the new away one.

Has there ever been a Premier League club that hasn't signed a player (Not youth) in the summer transfer window?

Yeah, he looks a really good prospect. Looks 10x the player Rodwell does at the moment. Hopefully Rodwell has a break out season this year thoughmauro=beast wrote:i havent seen ross barkley play since last year but i watch his highlight for everton in recent friendly he look even better then before. he will be really good player
Not sure, wouldn't be surprised if there hasn't and that we'll be the firstMr Leiva wrote:Has there ever been a Premier League club that hasn't signed a player (Not youth) in the summer transfer window?

Re: Everton FC Official Thread
i being completely honest, i think barkley is as good as mceachran....definitely his touch and skills with the ball is just as good. but hes also much more quicker and physically, wow hes built already like a man. perhaps from what i saw passing is good but need to be consistent but is that a role he will do in the future? to me he seem like an attacking all rounder, can play anywhere in attack or behind tucked in....like iniesta
is pity about rodwell but i agree he is not as good as he was before. hopefuly he can become better
but barkley wow! people may disagree but he is better then rooney at same age and yes i know rooney already playing epl at that age but im just breaking things down and barkley is really good. is he full english?? he certainly does not play like english player! he must be part brasilian

Barkley is scouse, I think Rodwell is the one that actually has a bit of Brazilian background in him . At the current moment Barkley looks like the only one in our team capable of passing the ball forward... we should be seeing a bit more of him this season

Baines has said now that Arteta is gone, he wants out in January.
Interesting.

Re: Everton FC Official Thread
Did he actually say that?
I think Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal could all go for him.
Evra and Cole aren't getting any younger, especially Evra, and Chelsea could go after him if they don't get Pereira in Jan.
If Santos flops, like he could, then Wenger might move him as a winger and sign Baines but I doubt that.
I think United will go for him.

Lads at work were talking about it this morning. Probably a wind up from our lot. Wouldn't be shocked if Moyes walked though given the state of the club.

Anyone think Drenthe was a good signing? Seen a little of him whilst playing for Hércules, I thought he played well, but was in a pretty poor team.

People call him Accidrenthe because he falls over at least 10 times a game.
I think he will be good for Everton but he was never Real Madrid quality.

Until January, surely Mucha must be going on loan.
