Copa del Rey is quite a bit more prestigious than the FA cup first of all. It's not just the Federation cup, it's the cup of the king.

And it is treated as much more important in Spain than in England as well.

Plus as has been said this isn't just winning the cup, this is about winning over Barcelona for the cup. And what fans wouldn't want to get up close to their players after having winning a trophy?

I don't really think it's seen as that important in Spain actually, just more important this year because of who Real beat.

Its not, although the FA Cup has declined in recent years its still more prestigious than the CDR, everyone stepped their game up this year though because Mou took it seriously, it had a bit of a domino effect across the nation.

Just about to say that. Pique, Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Villa, Busquets.

Compared to Madrid. Casillas, Ramos, Alonso.
