Flop of the season?

Chamakh was playing well,then Van Persie came back and since Wenger won't play 2 strikers Chamakh got dropped and has thus since lost form/confidence/fitness.
Konchesky,Poulsen,Joe Cole,Torres,Jovanovic are probs the main flops of the season imo.

most of them from liverpool lol...

Malouda was great before we had a dip in form, it obviously had an adverse affect on him too...

How could more have been expected of Chamakh when it was known he was always going to a bench player when Van Persie came back? There's nothing Chamakh could have done to have more of an impact this season. He did everything in his power and he was excellent when he was used. To me, you shouldn't be considered a flop if you were injured or something else happened that was out of your control. This should be based on form alone.

And I might as well say that Poulsen and Konchesky can't be considered flops, everyone knew they'd be crap, it's not their fault that Roy signed them.

I remember Liverpool fans going around in the summer about their signing Jovanovic.

I remembered telling them to shut up and he was only a decent player in the Belgium league.

I think Wenger was planning on putting Van Persie on the wing when he brought Chamakh in, but he hasn't been as reliable or consistant has many thought he would be.

Chamakh is a whinging fanny, says he can't play because he's too tired.

He likes to take a dive as well. Prick aint scored since November.
BUT he's not the flop of the season since he was free.

I have always said before the transfer happened he is a below average winger. Silly people on Ea where saying he was going to be a key player for us


Joe Cole, sadly I got carried away with the hype during the summer with him.

Poulsen and Konch, Should never had stepped foot at Anfield. Nearly £10 Fucking million spend, half off all our money spent on there woeful players.

I said he would be a 'useful' player, expected slightly more from him than what we got though.

He scored against the formidable challenge that Northampton Town gave us.

Eider Gudjohnsen. Stoke fans were jizzing themselves over him on deadline day.

Liverpool doesn't give people enough chances imo, Jovanovic and Poulsen are both decent footballers.

Main flop has to be Torres though I mean goddamn, anyone else isn't in the same league of floppage.
