I read somewhere else it was André Villas Boas, I think he was his assistant at the time, who wrote that scouting report.

Me, Thought it was when he was at Porto for some reason and it was an analysis on a Newcastle/Chelsea match

Vilas Boas did indeed write a lot of his scouting reports but the source of that pdf file says it was written by Mourinho.

It depends, i'd assume they'd collect reports for 3 or 4 games, then see some sort of pattern in the way they play, set up etc. If it was Mourinho, then I can't see how he'd be able to go to 3 or 4 Newcastle games (assuming they where soon to play Chelsea). If it was just 1 game report then it could possibly be him I just think half of that detail would not actually be seen normally when watching the game on TV therefore game would need to be attended.

Reminds me of an NFL scouting report (but much, much shorter), never seen a football one so detailed.

Defence is highly inconsistent both due to indivdual mistake (Boumsong mainly-exploit).
