With the current format of the CL knockout stages it's unfortunately about just trying to win, Mourinho has done that elsewhere and is the first manager in lord knows how long to bring Madrid to semi finals. I like good football as much as anyone, but I don't get the constant bitching coming from old heads at Madrid.

ThiagoAlthough Pep Guardiola had given the first team the day off on Monday, Puyol, Milito, Pinto, Abidal, Mascherano, Thiago and Bojan went to the Joan Gamper training ground on a voluntary basis.
