I don't think Spurs are the best team in the world, never said that anywhere

You don't understand that through history, this will probably be one of your highlights finishing 4th. Spurs have gotten close to Arsenal before but this is probably your peak no offence

Of course it's a highlight now to finish 4th because of how tough it is to get into the top 4 with the big sides. Plus, it seems now that the Champions League is the competition to play in and nothing else matters as long as you are in it. And with 4th place giving that opportunity to get into it makes it more of a highlight. I disagree that this is our peak though, I still think we can get better. If we finish 4th again, which we can with a game in hand and still have to travel to City, then players will have seen us in the Champions League and will hopefully think 'Tottenham are a team on the up and look to be getting better and have potential to win big trophies.' I say hopefully because we all know that money is a big factor in moving and with the wage limit we have in place, it will be difficult to offer huge wages.

I can see how you can say that but I mean how do you know this isn't just the start of Spurs as a big club? I won't say big club actually because that term is skewed but you know what I mean?

We were midtable not too long ago and here we are. Bale is one of our better players and he is young..we have more decent players then we've ever had before. We are working our way up.

This season you did in the CL what Blackpool did in the EPL because you were the new boys with nothing to lose. If you don't get 4th this season you haven't moved forward at all.

I am pretty confident we can snag 4th. We have important matches against Chelsea/Arsenal/Man City/Liverpool approaching.

Gonna be a tough job you've probably got the hardest run in in the league, City don't have any matches left that can pose a threat! Gonna be in the Europa League next year without a doubt, sorry to say

teams get tired from having so many games in a short span at this point of the year. We should take points from Blackpool, Birmingham, West Brom.
Saying we aren't gonna finish 4th without a doubt is silly at this point..too many games left too much can happen, we are only 3 points behind.

And you have an extra game to play one more than City in the same length of time, Against much harder competition 4 of your 7 games are against teams in the top 6! And then two more against teams in the drop zone who always cause upsets this time of year. And the final game against WBA is unpredictable because they are on a brilliant run Smile

Ermmm they play us in what could be crucial like last year, and if we win the game in hand we are on level points then it's a matter of matching their results until that game at Eastlands. We win that we're above them for the last two games of the season. Win both of those and it's ours. Difficult but not impossible. Remember last year when we had to play Arsenal, Chelsea, United and City? Yeah we got 9 out of 12 points that put us 4th. We can do it. The boys know what the Champions League is like now, and I have no doubt that they will fight for every point to get there once again and prove that last year was no fluke. Don't count us out. We have a great record up at City, so it's not like we haven't won there before with pressure (we did it last year).
