He is over-hyped.
He's good, but whenever teams double up on him he is found out to have very little variety in his skill-set.
If kick and run doesn't work, he is ineffective most of the time.

Valencia is actually more advanced than Bale. If you seen Ecuador when he usually plays through the middle you will see he's not all about running down and crossing. I recommend you watch a South America FIFA 2010 WC qualifying game when Ecuador smashed Argentina, you will see how effective and how advanced he is than Bale especially when he was playing as a treq.

valencia doesnt have multitude of skills but he istold school winger and he is not exempt from cutting inside, valencia can do many more things than bale can and he can actually cross a ball unlike bale who just smashes ball across field all the time and prays to jesus that something good will happen

Definitely overhyped.
Especially after the Inter games. The Inter games was just tactics countering each other and one being overly successful, one which meant Bale had a good game both legs.
