Again, these are not my views. These are the favourites to be shortlisted.

Jack Wilshere.

Martin Kelly

Jack Willy of the Shire.

Welbeck for me.

Kelly. Because nobody expected him to be so good this season.

Bale has played well this season, wasn't he out injured for a few games? Still bagged 7 goals and probably a few assists. He may win it, not a given though.

15 goals for a winger, no matter how you look at it, is impressive. Not to mention the countless assists he would have got if Spurs weren't so shit. Read somewhere that only Kevin Davies has created more goal scoring opportunities.

Was meant to vote for Wilshere.

Statistically, Walcott should be more of a favourite for the award than Bale.

Bale - 25 Games, 7 goals, 1 assist
Walcott - 19 games, 7 goals, 6 assists.

ffs, my mistake. 11 goals in all competitions.

This is why I don't wank over stats.

Besides, Wilshere will no doubt win it in the following years. Only delaying the inevitable.

Yeah, I think it's become a trend to underrate Bale now. Yeah people were cumming over him too much, but he's still a great winger.

Wilshere deserves it. He's been a standout performer in our midfield (that has the likes of Nasri, Fabregas, Walcott etc in it)
