    If you have the time...

    http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/8486795/the-harden-dilemma

Sam Presti (OKC GM) has been touted as a genius, but this is just dumb.

    1. Sold out the past four seasons.
    2. Fielded a popular/marketable/likable contender for the past three years.
    3. Hosted 19 playoff games over the past two seasons (free money).
    4. Didn't pay the luxury tax in any of the last four years.
    5. Will remain under the tax if they don't extend Harden until next summer.
    6. Wouldn't be the first "small market" team to pay the luxury tax. Check out this splendid piece of "Who paid the luxury tax since 2002?" research from Sham Sports — you'll notice Sacramento (2003-04: $30 million), San Antonio (2009: $8.8 million), Minnesota (2004: $17.6 million) and Cleveland (2008-10: $43.1 million) on there.

As I analyze the deal it looks better and better... BUT

OKC's best option still was to keep Harden
Harden can create off the dribble and plays better D than Martin, Martin is more of a jumpshooter and OKC already has too many of those.
Lamb is a talented player who will grow practicing with Durant, he is the real key to this trade IMO, if he can develop to an All Star Reserve type player, OKC wins.

Anyway... the association is back tonight, praise all.

I was on there Facebook page and they said they are negotiating with the NBA, but, it doesn't look like it will happen. I think they are shutting down next year, and it is the UK (not that many fans).

    But Harden, what a game.

Harden was rejecting contract extensions; much in same way Arsenal wanted to get something for RvP, the Thunder didn't want to be left hanging if he left in free agency.

I like Harden, especially on the Thunder and wanted him to stay but it is what it is.

Lin almost had a triple double and Asik had 19 rebounds, Houston looking really nice.
