What position do you play in?

If you play footy, what position do you play in? Can be in a real club, or just in kickabouts with mates.

My manager keeps telling me to stop going forward so much because 'I leave the defence exposed to much'. Not my fucking problem the bald cunt can't implement decent tactics and get a player who can pass a ball to play next to me

Centre back or Defensive midfielder

CB or if the team isn't doing it I play behind the strikers, always get put out on the wing because I'm rapid though

I don't play for any clubs or anything like that but I do play kickabouts regularly with a bunch of mates. We still play like school kids and chase the ball wherever it goes.

Any where. If I am knackered I'll stay back or go in goal otherwise I'll just go more attacking.

I'm not that good but I'm a good finisher so I play up front, my positioning is good but i'm not agressive enough, like i always say sorry to people

I can pretty much play anywhere. I'm best across the back line and as a holding midfielder though.

Left right out.

Nah right now I play Left Mid/Wing but I can play anywhere really, I used to play attacking mid, can play anywhere in midfield, left back, striker.

I get put Right Back or Left Back for the team i'm in now. I'm both footed and pretty fast, so they've put me on both wings a few times too.

The managers a cunt though. Plays his son and his mates son upfront together and they're both ball greedy twats and can't hit a barn door. They've both missed an open goal at least once in games this season, and in training no one wants to be with them on the team, so they usually get picked last.

I was top scorer for my old team last season and the season before aswell. Only played for them 2 years and i'm 21st in the clubs all time top scorer list which has been going on since 1983

Used to play RM, then manager moved me to RB, quite liked it there though. .

The new kid came into the team, and his dad ended up as assistant manager and put him as RM when he was shit. So that why i got moved to RB.

Used to be center/right midfield but my first touch went down the toilet.... now I'm right-back .

I play in goal. Nothing gets by me.

I sprint up and down the pitch doing everything really....(this is usually on 5 a side though..)

I'm probably best as a defender though...

Funny this thread, because I was thinking about this before.

Well were to start, I've mentioned it before on here but I played for Tottenham and Everton academy's growing up as a kid, I was at both clubs for a combined 10 years in total from the age of 7-16 (Didn't make it, obviously). I always played as a left forward/left midfielder. I was always small as a kid, bout 5'7, 5'8, a footballer, good dribbler, great burst of pace, great low centre of gravity, good jumper (Didn't win many headers though being that small)and I was a decent finisher.

Now here is the turning point, at around 13-14, I went on a massive growth spurt and by 16 I was 6ft3. (That was definitely a factor in me not quite reaching it as a footballer) So while I was at Everton I had to adapt my game, the speed and low centre of gravity went, I just couldn't run as fast any more and couldn't turn as quick. But I know had strength, power and aerial presence on my side, so naturally I had to adapt. So from being a left forward, I had to become a centre forward/striker. So I changed my game, learnt how to play the way I do, adapted and that's that. Did a lot of gym work and bulked up considerably.

I'm the same as Fernando Llorente, if you read an interview with him, he says when he was a kid, he was all what I've mentioned but took a massive growth spurt and had to adapt his game, difference is, he made it, I never. But now you can see clearly see in his game that he used to have them attributes, his dribbling, movement with the ball, trapping, turning is excellent for his size and build, as well as being a great target man.

Whilst I was adapting, I always kept the good dribbling and good turning also like Llorente (You never lose your technical ability). So I'm a player who plays in a very similar fashion to him.

This is why he's one of my favourite players.
