    Ugh this draw sucks Neutral

    Barcelona easy quarter final Neutral
Chelsea vs Man Utd Neutral...means there can't be 3 English in the semis so no gloating (unless Spurs beat Barcelona pig)
Spurs vs Madrid...this is a decent one because I think Spurs can win........
Inter vs Shaktar....shit...but means that Chelsea/Utd are favourites for final at least..

Some sexy games out of 4 fixtures, WOW that's news. 1 is a non contest, 1 is irrelevant and the other two are good, but could've gone better IMO.

Of course though, you'd get all hormonal about it.

I have an off-topic question for you, Lux. If a foreigner moved to England, got citizenship, lived a normal life, obeyed laws, etc., would you still not like them in the country?

Depends what you mean by "a normal life".

I wouldn't really care...I've been numbed by the government's failure to do anything so I just try and get on with it.

But if they're not doing anything wrong...and they're not trying to stamp their culture into our country then I'd be fine with it.

Skin colour itself doesn't matter for me (that much), it's more about the other things.

I have lots of friends who are foreign...and it doesn't bother me where they're from or what colour they are.

How can a Champions League tie not be relevant?

No football match is a "no contest", think you're watching the wrong sport if you write off a team before a ball has been kicked. Do not underestimate a team who have reached the quarter finals. there there

Because I couldn't give a dam about Shaktar/Inter? It's relevant generally of course, but I couldn't care for the game at all.

Me being criticised for thinking a team vs Barcelona stand no chance. The irony.......

Schalke won't win over 2 legs, no way. Every team have a chance....Watford would have a chance...that doesn't mean they'll win.

I'll hope Schalke win, but its not going to happen so why bother. In a harder group stage (i.e one that wasn't the easiest) Schalke probably wouldn't be here at all, though fair play to them for beating Valencia.

Don't talk about Watford or any other team irrelevant to the teams at hand. I am talking about shakhtar specifically, not any other team so there is no reasoning in bringing any other team involved. Of course Watford have a chance at beating Barca, but Shakhtar have an unequivocally better chance. They keep a clean sheet in Ukraine whilst nicking a goal(s) then it;s all to play for.

Also, you were talking about irony....what irony? Confused

    Edit: rofl

You do know it's actually shakhtar who are playing Barca?

    No wonder you're confused.....

Wow my mate got it mixed up...I never checked any sites but he told me the draw Neutral

I think that's a more interesting game.....but it makes Inter vs Schalke even more boring.

I'm actually interested in the game in Ukraine...Shaktar got a few underrated technical players...with the conditions you never know what could happen. Most teams struggle vs Soviet sides away.

AS you can see I also said Shakhtar and made an edit 10 seconds after proof reading so I actually do. Nice try, though. there there

I don't care if you were being blasted by Jamie or not, that has nothing to do with me.....It's not ironic from where I'm coming from....

Well, I prefer English success to foreign success (unless it's Luton Town Mad ) but I wouldn't be crazy.......I'd just prefer an English team to win.

Also...one of the main reasons I want an English team to win is to stop Barcelona winning because I want to see them fail so badly.....so if they were English that'd mess things up a bit Laughing I don't dislike Barcelona just because they're foreign though....it's mostly just their style of play/their players attitudes

Also Spurs are my 2nd team and they have to face Madrid and then Barcelona if they meet Madrid...so whilst it promises big game/s it's unlikely they'll reach the final.

Huh? I was mistaken about the teams...and your point about Ukraine away wasn't relevant when I thought it was Schalke.

The point about "it doesn't matter about any other team only Schalke (or Shaktar) is silly when you said at first "no game is a no-contest". No game (at all) doesn't = just Schalke/Shaktar....

    That doesn't make sense.

My point is bringing other teams chances is pointless because I was talking about Shakhtar's chances specifcally so bringing in another team (who are inapposite even if brought in for playings devil advocate as they are not even in the same League as Shakhtar footballing) is irrelevant.

Concerning getting the teams mistaken, get your facts right.
