To be fair, they aren't making an excuse.. they know they lost fair.. just the tackles from Scholes were horrible to be honest.

Hate it when people talk about injuries like that. "Rather it happened to him" or "hope he gets his career ended". No need for it- just as there was no need for Scholes' tackles. Thought Foy was about to bring out the card.

Not an excuse at all Neutral

We weren't good enough in the final 3rd. Had the chances, didn't take them and got done on the break.

Thought the scoreline flattered United. On balance a draw would have been about right IMO.

First tackle wasn't bad, just hard and he won the ball.

Second one was rash yet Wilsheres before wasn't exactly a good tackle either.

Why should we stop talking about Scholes? He's such a pathetic twat. Two horrible challenges in the space of 5 minutes which could have been very serious yet he gets away with it once again. Big joke.

We all know he's a great player, but he's also a cunt of a player at times.

Yes Scholes should have been sent off but he wasn't and even if he did get sent off the game wouldn't have been any different as it happened in the last couple of minutes.

Danny, don't argue it, no point.

We love Scholes, legend at our club.. he's a shit tackler.. I don't believe he wants to hurt people but he gets carried away and it isn't good.. but if he was a Liverpool player we'd be saying what a disgrace his tackling is, and they'd be saying how fucking classy he is.. that's just how it is.

To my mind.. Paul Scholes. not worthy
