Re: Share your tactics
I seem to do better playing with a DM with Arsenal, then on the attack it merges into 5 upfront, which is pretty good.

Re: Share your tactics
Currently using a 4-2-4 set up as it best suits Arsenal, now that Chamakh is with us. Seems pointless to leave either van Persie or Chamakh out of the team using a 4-3-3/4-5-1 formation or play either on the wings.
First season, around 18 games played and still unbeaten, the tactic is becoming a bit of a world beater. The goals are shared amongst the team so there aren't any dominate goalscorers, which is realistic based upon Arsenal.

Re: Share your tactics
I use a 4-4-2 rotating with a 4-2-3-1/4-5-1 tactic with Athletic Club Bilbao.
For Siracusa, last season I used primarily a 3-4-3 and 4-4-2 in cup games against higher division clubs. Now that I have been promoted, I am droping 3-4-3 and looking to see which tactic works the best.
For Poland, I use a 4-4-2, for Spain I use a 4-5-1.

I like the sound of it.

Re: Share your tactics
I mix mine up depending on the opposition, would it be better to save tactics?
Because I never bother.

Re: Share your tactics
It's better to save tactics, and have many tactical options, depending on the opposition.
Don't understand people who download tactics and play it throughout the season never changing it.

GK - Goalkeeper, defend
FB - Full back, defend
CB - Centre back, defend
DLP - Deep lying playmaker, defend
B2B - Box to box midfielder, support
AP - Advanced playmaker, attack
IF - Inside forward, attack
PO - Poacher, attack
DLF - Deep lying forward, support
AF - Advanced forward, attack
Excellent formation if you are a team who can run and pass and have very fast defenders.

Re: Share your tactics
Are they full backs or Centerbacks?
I don't think going with one centerback is wise, or even logical.

Re: Share your tactics
Full backs. But the sole centre back is so good he can defend all by himself, allowing one more attacker to be up the pitch.

Re: Share your tactics
Well, all the players are regens now. This is the tactic:
And this is the first choice centre back:
And the first choice left back:
Not the best tactic defensively, almost a goal a game conceded:

Re: Share your tactics
Does anyone go 1-0-9 if they're losing in the last few minutes?
