Best Players of Your Lifetime.

These would be the elite players of my lifetime in my opinion, they would/still do just rip teams apart almost every match..
Ronaldo, Henry, Messi, Cristiano, Ronaldinho

Then just under them is people like..
Van Nistelrooy, Totti, Kaka, Zidane, Gerrard, Scholes, Xavi, Bergkamp etc

All in their prime's of course.

Ronaldo (both homo and fat), Messi, Henry, Zidane, Raul, Ronaldinho, Giggs, Scholes.

I think you're crazy to not list Zidane as an elite player. It's hard for me to decide who I think is the best player of my lifetime, but Zidane would definitely be up there.

You're comparing him to Henry who is a striker, it's more his role to do the scoring.

Zidane did more than just score and assist. If we're just looking at stats to judge a player then Bergkamp must be pretty poor with that scoring record. No, he did other things like Zidane. Zidane is one of the only players to win the fifa world player of the year 3 times. He's won a Balon D'or. He's the Henry of midfield.

I don't just include him because i support Arsenal. Its not just about stats no.. for example look at this play from Henry, as good as anything Zidane could do in midfield, beats 3 players then does a long pass to Bergkamp who uses his sublime touch to take the ball from mid air straight into Cashley's path...


Henry got no goal or assist for that but it was absolutely class. So to say Zidane was on his level when he could do all those things Zidane could but also bang in 30+ goals a season with 20+ assists tells me he is a better player.

I thought Buffon was overrated. He is a great keeper no doubt, but overrated. I'd also like to add Aboutreka. The best player to not play in Europe in my lifetime.

Pires was a genius at Arsenal as well.. I've left out so many it'd take too much time.

For us probably Gerrard. In world football terms it would have to be Zidane. Outstanding player he was.

I didn't mention Gerrard, for me he's up there with Zidane.
